Vive la retirement!!

Yesterday Don and I went to a retirement party. Nancy is a person who gets things done. Her career was over 33 years for the United States Air Force Academy protocol office. What a terrific way to leave a position with pomp and circumstance! Would that we all could have such fanfare. There were gifts and mementos, and then the best gift of all, not to work ! This lady surely will find something else to do, she is creative and smart and will start up another career probably before the day is out. Vive la retirement!
