Hawaiian days and summer nights
Summer parties are the best! Planning a theme and preparing the house was part of the excitement and Corinne was a huge help. Guests are either sipping lemonade or playing yard games such as badminton and bocce ball while the children are blowing bubbles and the hula hoops are madly spinning. I asked their moms if they could jump on the trampoline and they said yes. There fortunately was not much jumping as the little ones preferred to pretend they were tigers. Eva was a good one that liked to rub her head up against you and purr while Max was a mean tiger that would bite your hand and leg. Roar! Clay was the center of attention juggling balls, rings, pins and bocce balls.....really they are extremely heavy and there he was effortlessly doing it. Food always tastes better when you are eating it outside and this food was delicious. Don prepares the most scrumptious feasts such as Kaula pork wrapped in banana leaves and hawaiian grilled chicken with jasmine rice while our guests brought specialty dishes to accompany our meal. Summer parties really are the best, and I am already planning another one!
